Dypsis baronii Sugar Cane Palm
A stunning specimen for smaller gardens, or as a smaller dramatic palm in a larger garden. It has a multi stemmed appearance, that displays red/purple stems when young, changing to green/yellow when mature. The arching trunks and feather like fronds give it a classic tropical look. Best in a sheltered, shaded site, however it can take full sun as well. A slow grower. Tolerant of light frost. Mature height to 3m. Clumping habit.
