Beautiful, formal, double, red flowers. The flowers contrast well against the handsome, glossy, green foliage. Outstanding performer which will make a strong statement either in the garden or a container. Happiest in semi-shade with acid soil. Flowers from late-winter to early-spring. Camellia ‘Roger Hall’ (Japonica) grows to 3m (H) x 2m (W) in 10 years. There are two main species of Camellia commonly grown in New Zealand, Japonica and Sasanqua. There are also Hybrid, Groundcover and Camellia Sinensis available. An evergreen tree or shrub that blooms through winter and spring. All camellia prefer a free draining soil with loads of organic matter & slightly acidic soil.
